Bang Klang and Rbkä

2022 - Ongoing

Bang Klang is a performance project in which multi-media artist A.P. Bergeron and myself improvise sonically to specific moments in specific places with instruments brought and devises available.

Rbkä is a collaboration between A.P. Bergeron, synthesizer builder Rivka Marie, and myself, that follows the same live principals as the Bang Klang project, while also incorporating methods of post processing towards the music’s released record.

Bang Klang was interviewed by the photographer and podcaster Peter Holiday for his podcast The Land Behind. Listen to us talk to Peter during our residency at the Orient Point Lighthouse here.

Rbkä - Spikehorn

Composed of improvised performances recorded live off the floor at a mystical desert ranch, Spikehorn presents wide swaths of raw and bristling soundscape punctuated by fleeting oases of light and life. A spontaneous musical reaction to time and place, Spikehorn’s scorched but shining pieces invoke the desert world they sprang from.
